The N55 is the last BMW straight-six with a factory air-to-air front-mount and chassis charge pipes — same architecture as the N54, and the stock core saturates the same way once boost climbs. A larger front-mount is the canonical N55 cooling upgrade; the water-to-air manifold era starts with the S55, not here.
