What Rapid Racing collects — account details, VINs, datalogs — why we need it, and what we never do with it.

A tuning shop runs on data that other shops never see: your VIN, your engine's software version, your datalogs. This page says exactly what we take, why, and what we do with it. The one-line version: your data builds your tune and nothing else.
To build and support your tune: match files to your VIN, keep your revision history coherent, answer support questions with your build sheet in front of us, and ship hardware to the right address. That's the whole list.
Account and tune history live as long as your account does — your tunes should outlive your laptop. Datalogs are kept while your tune is active and for a year after, then pruned. Order records are kept as long as tax law requires. Delete your account and we remove everything except what we're legally required to retain.
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to fix it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] from the address on the account and we'll handle it — no forms, no runaround. If you're in the EU/UK or California, this is us honoring those rights; if you're anywhere else, you get them anyway.
Our store and backend run on hosting in the EU and North America. Data crosses those borders only as needed to serve you the site and build your tune.
