WARMING THE ENGINE…
Low-temp circuit · the front-mount upgrade a B58 takes
The B58 cools charge air with water, not air: a heat exchanger behind the bumper dumps heat from the low-temperature coolant circuit that feeds the manifold's charge cooler. This is a larger, denser-fin exchanger for that circuit — back-to-back pulls stay honest because the water side of the system finally rejects the heat the core absorbs. This is the front-mounted cooling upgrade a B58 actually accepts. A front-mount intercooler is N54/N55-era hardware and does not exist for this platform.
