Rapid Racing returns policy: digital tunes vs physical parts, revision rights, and when you get your money back.
Last updated October 20, 2026
We sell two very different things, so we have two very different return rules. Short version: hardware can come back, tunes are built-to-order and can't — but a tune that never ships is always refundable, and every tune carries revisions.
Every tune is a custom calibration built for one VIN, one fuel, one hardware setup. It has no value to anyone else, which is exactly why it can't be resold — and why it can't be returned once the file has been built and delivered to your account.
Manufacturing defects are covered for one year: we replace the part or refund it. Wear, crash damage, misuse, and damage from running hardware outside its rated use are not. If a part of ours fails early, write us — we would much rather learn why than argue about it.
Email [email protected] with your order number and what happened. For tunes, open a support ticket from your account instead — that puts the thread next to your vehicle and its files, which is where the answer usually lives.
If a charge ever looks wrong, email us before contacting your bank — we answer fast, and nearly everything is fixable without a dispute. A payment dispute filed before you've asked us freezes further tune delivery and revisions on the account while it resolves, because our payment processor locks the funds it touches. We keep a complete record — what was built, what was downloaded, when, from where — and we use it to answer disputes honestly.
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights.
